At midmonth, (above) and a report reflecting on his first year at 51勛圖窪蹋 Davis Health (he started July 2, 2018) and looking forward to the next.
The culture here is one of kindness, compassion and excellence, Lubarsky wrote. It doesnt need an overhaul. It needs a new strategic direction to take all thats been built and adapt it for a future that is as exciting as it is inevitable.
His one-year anniversary report is in two parts:
- in which he states, Much of what we accomplished was made possible by creating partnerships, internally and externally, that freed up people to do the right thing.
- in which he declares the coming year will be the Year of Patient Access.
Meet the new deans
Embracing our future
And so we begin the next phase, Lubarsky said July 22 at the morning reception where he introduced the deans on their first day of work. Bringing in new blood constantly is key to the life blood of an academic organization. It gets new thinking, it gets new teamwork, it gets new ideas really out there and into circulation, and lets us embrace our future.
Brashear and Cavanagh will work jointly and with Lubarsky to develop models around integrated care delivery and advanced practice for both their disciplines.
