Join us for this transfer preparation program

June 30-July 2, 2024

Students who just graduated from high school (class of 2024) and plan to attend a community college that is part of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Davis Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) are invited to participate in a free, three-day, two-night summer residential intensive transfer preparation program. Jumpstart your knowledge on how you can earn a university degree by transferring from your community college.


Topics include:

  • Majors and career discovery
  • Transfer requirements
  • Academic preparation and planning
  • Financial literacy
  • Transfer resources and tools
  • Peer mentoring

Time commitment

Arrive at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Davis campus at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 30 and stay for the entirety of the program, until 2 p.m on Tuesday, July 2.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this event, students must:

  • Graduate from high school this year, Class of 2024
  • Plan to attend a community college in fall 2024 that is partnered with

First-generation or low-income students receive priority consideration along with students who participated in college preparation programs such as AVID, EAOP, MESA, Puente, ETS, Upward Bound, SAYS, IYT, College Track and others.


Program cost

Aggie to Be, or A2B, is free. Housing, meals, and program supplies are provided. Students who are accepted to participate as A2B scholars will need to provide their transportation to and from the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Davis campus for this event
