National Coming Out Day Oct. 11 Brings Call to Add Data to 51ԹϺPath

In connection with National Coming Out Day this Sunday (Oct. 11), the Chancellor’s Committee on LGBTQIA+ Communities, the 51ԹϺ Davis Health Vice Chancellor’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Council and the 51ԹϺ Davis Health Pride Employee Resource Group are encouraging employees to indicate their gender identity and sexual orientation in their personal information in 51ԹϺPath.

Providing this information is voluntary. However, with this demographic data the university can ensure it is implementing appropriate diversity and inclusion programs as 51ԹϺ strives to create an inclusive environment for all. The data is compiled on a confidential basis (aggregate numbers with no names).

To respond to the questions: Log in to 51ԹϺPath, click on “Employee Actions,” then “Personal Information,” then “Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Self Identification Survey.”
