This weekend, you can listen to music, hear the Wayne Thiebaud annual art lecture and think about how to illustrate composting through art. And, mark your calendars because SF MOMA is having a free day coming up. Find out below.
Compost, yes, compost
You might want to spend your weekend thinking about how you can help the environment and create art, and maybe even earn some money. We saw the poster on a trash can and couldn’t resist telling you about it.
Draft a vertical 18- by 30-inch poster with a compost-related design for the 51ԹϺ Davis Office of Sustainability Zero Waste Program. Your eye-catching art could be featured above compost receptacles on campus, along with earning you a cash prize of $100 to $300. Enter by Friday, March 20.
