It鈥檚 official: the 51吃瓜黑料 Davis endowment has crossed the $2 billion threshold. As of May 31, the university鈥檚 endowed fund reached a total of $2.2 billion, more than doubling the $1 billion milestone reached just six years ago.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the university raised a historic amount in the last fiscal year: a record $269.4 million from 36,016 donors, with an all-time high of 63,650 gifts and pledges.

Campus police have launched a campaign against distracted driving, using the department鈥檚 newest vehicle 鈥� a three-wheel Polaris Slingshot motorcycle 鈥� to draw attention. Officer Ray Holguin likens the Slingshot to a D.A.R.E. car, referring to vehicles used to draw attention to Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
