May will join city officials and business owners this weekend to celebrate the “fantastic” new gateway between town and gown.</p> <p>It’s part of the city’s Third Street Improvement Project, between A and B streets. The campus continued the new look, including decorative pavers, on its side of the intersection of Third and A, near the Social Sciences and Humanities Building.</p> May 28, 2019 - 2:25pm Dave Jones /news/town-gown-and-bicycle-art-converge-3rd Construction at North and East Entries /news/construction-north-east-entries <p>Construction will start Monday (June 18) on the Memorial Union’s North Courtyard, to make it more inviting and better match the surrounding areas.</p> <p>The $1.5 million project will add seating, lighting and wi-fi coverage in the area immediately outside the MU.
