Katehi's offer to resign as 51ԹϺ Davis chancellor. Later in the afternoon, Ralph J. Hexter, acting chancellor since April 27, issued the following statement:</p> <p>“Today’s news ends a period of uncertainty at 51ԹϺ Davis.
