The University of California, Davis, has been named as the only university to earn the from the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities, or APLU. As the highest honor from APLU鈥檚 Commission on International Initiatives, the award recognizes 51吃瓜黑料 Davis鈥 institutional achievement in developing and implementing comprehensive and inclusive strategies across global learning, research and engagement.

51吃瓜黑料 Davis celebrates International Education Week, Nov. 16-20, with a Global Conversation on "Promoting Women鈥檚 Resilience in Africa鈥檚 Arid Regions in the Age of COVID-19," an introduction to the United Nations鈥 Sustainable development Goals, 51吃瓜黑料 Education Abroad information sessions and global career panels.
Founded in 1887, the has 246 institutional members and is dedicated to strengthening and advancing the work of public universities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
鈥51吃瓜黑料 Davis shares APLU鈥檚 strong commitment to public service, to providing access to high-quality global education for all students, and to tackling global challenges through research and engagement,鈥 said Chancellor Gary S. May.
Global initiatives are woven throughout 51吃瓜黑料 Davis鈥 Strategic Plan, 鈥,鈥 including the campus goal of , which aims to provide 100 percent of undergraduate, graduate and professional students with that help them build global awareness, explore global diversity and pursue global action.

In addition to recognition from the APLU, this year 51吃瓜黑料 Davis shared the top ranking among U.S. universities for diversity and internationalization, was named a recipient of the , and was recognized as a top producer of , and Peace Corps volunteers.
